Seasonal Menu Tasting: Recap and Photos

The holiday season is an extra special time for friends and families to gather. Spirits are high, good cheer is spread and delicious food is abundant!

At The Grand Event Center, we like to think of ourselves as experts in the art of gathering – people come together under our roof year-round, after all!

The centerpiece of most holiday gatherings is the food. Last month, our culinary team at The Grand Event Center hosted a group of local Columbus foodies to experience a multi-course meal of new seasonal menu items, with beverage pairings provided by local favorite Watershed Distillery. We change the menu every season to keep things fresh and exciting for our guests. Here is what was on the menu for our tasting!

Salad: 

Little Gem Lettuce, Poached Pear, Chestnut Confit, Celery, Point Reyes Blue Cheese with Champagne Vinaigrette

Small Plates:

Bison Chili Empanadas with Lime Sour Cream

Duck Confit Spring Rolls with Black Garlic Sauce

Espresso Lamb Lollipops

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Cream, Brown Butter and Charred Shishito Peppers

Chicken Feta Florentine Roulade with Tomato Ragout

Cauliflower Steak with Coconut Curry, Basmati Rice and Crispy Chickpeas (Vegan)

Seared Scallops and Lobster with Sunchoke Puree, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Saffron Vanilla Sauce
